Since different elements operate independently at loading docks, operators may have difficulties knowing the correct sequence of actions, which can lead to improper operation and potential accidents during the loading/unloading process.
For this reason, METENIC provides a main control panel for managing the entire loading dock, offering smoother and safer operation, as it continuously indicates the next step to be carried out by the operator.
Thanks to centralized management, the safety of personnel involved in loading/unloading operations is ensured, as all movements of the different elements are controlled and only the correct action is allowed at each moment.
VISION SYSTEM:
One of the factors that can cause accidents in this process is the positioning of the truck at the loading/unloading dock.
METENIC provides a device that can fully guide this maneuver. Using a high-tech system, this device detects any type of obstacle or element approaching the loading dock (including if the truck approaches with doors open or not properly closed).
Through a traffic light system and acoustic signals, the driver is guided to avoid contact with the different parts of the dock.
